Using the TeamSTEPPS® approach to improve teamwork and communication for abortion care: Lessons from pilots in Bolivia and Ghana
This technical brief was developed to help frontline service providers and other stakeholders create a safety culture when integrating TeamSTEPPS into comprehensive abortion care. It shares lessons learned from Ipas pilot projects in Bolvia and Ghana and concludes that TeamSTEPPS can yield promising results in the context of reproductive health care services, particularly safe abortion care.
