An estimated 35 million women and girls of reproductive age are living in crisis settings around the world, yet they often have little or no access to contraception or abortion care. No matter what causes the crisis—conflict or climate—they face the same harms to their reproductive health: no access to health care; increased risk of sexual violence; lack of necessities, education, and jobs to help them safely provide for their families and take care of their health. This is a long-term global program that requires sustainable women-led solutions. Our exhibit, through large-format photography and multimedia projection with subtitles, will highlight individual stories, and how gender equity, climate justice and reproductive freedom are central to global development and stability. Ipas has long been committed to achieving these global goals through partnership, programmes and grantmaking.
