We will resist and persist.

As we come to grips with the U.S. election results and the impact it will have in the United States and around the world, we deepen our resolve to fight for reproductive justice.

We know what a second Trump administration will bring. We know that democracy, human rights, and abortion rights are already under attack, and will be threatened even more. We have the playbook, Project 2025. And Trump and anti-rights extremists have made promises we know they will keep, including authorizing deep reductions in U.S. foreign assistance, defunding the World Health Organization, and expanding harmful policies like the Global Gag Rule—which will compound the harms the Helms Amendment has wrought for more than 50 years.

But we will stay the course. We’ll keep sounding the alarms, speaking truth, building our collective power, and ensuring women, girls and all people can access abortion care and contraception. We are proud to be part of a global movement for human rights, for reproductive freedom, for democracy.

With our partners across the globe, we will keep fighting for everyone’s right to determine their own future.
