Pansi Katenga, M.Sc., is Country Director for Ipas Malawi. She has over 20 years of experience in international development, focusing on women’s empowerment, sexual and reproductive health, measurement and evaluation, livelihood building, food and nutrition security, and commodity management in Africa and Asia. Prior to joining Ipas, she served as the Country Director for Christian Aid Malawi, where she was responsible for a program focusing on sexual and reproductive health and resilience-building. Ms. Katenga has also worked for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency in the U.K., South Africa and Zimbabwe, and for various United Nations agencies in Malawi and South Africa. Ms. Katenga holds a M.Sc. in project planning and management in developing countries from the University of Bradford and a B.A. in English with a minor in management from Andrews University.
