Abortion. Postabortion Care. Research-Evaluation. Laws and Policies.

2007

This study examines how prepared Ghanaian public health facilities are to provide essential and life-saving reproductive health care, such as safe abortion services, postabortion care and contraception. This assessment documents the availability of treatment for incomplete abortion and health facilities’ postabortion care caseloads. It also measures knowledge about Ghana’s progressive abortion law among health-care workers and factors that influence provider attitudes about the provision of safe abortion care.
